The journal is issued by Kaunas Forestry and Environmental Engineering University of Applied Sciences. The journal is published since 2011 at the expense of the University. All articles are published free of charge.

Journal scope. The journal publishes original scientific, review articles and short reports in the fields of forestry, forest management, forest ecology, sustainable forest use, forest economics and management, protected areas, landscape architecture, horticulture, recreation and tourism, renewable energy, spatial planning, measurement and environmental engineering, and other related topics. Articles can be prepared and published in Lithuanian, English or Russian languages.

Reviewing. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are subjected to reviewing. The reviewed manuscripts, if not rejected, shall be corrected by the authors according to the reviewers’ comments, or a reasoned explanation shall be provided why the comments/suggestions have not been taken into account. Journal Editorial board makes the decision on the publication of the article.

Liability of authors. Each author is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. Previously published or submitted to other journals articles are not accepted. If some of the presented material has already be published elsewhere, the authors are obliged to notify the Forestry and Landscape Management Editorial Board and to present a copy of the previously published paper.
