Lapland University of Applied Sciences offers a multidisciplinary Arctic Summer School

on ”International Business and Inovations in the Arctic” 10 ECTS

from 6-31 August, 2018

in the heart of Finnish Lapland, the hometown of Santa Claus, Rovaniemi city, Finland.

Course fee: 800 EUR (includes all learning events of 10 ECTS course, and 2 days Lapland study tour)

Arctic is unique region that gains increasing attention and interest not only due to climate change, but also due to business and innovation opportunities it comprises.  The course offers a possibility to develop own business idea and gain international network through innovative learning experience. Intensive four weeks course consists of three learning phases. First part is an interactive learning about Arctic business and innovations: global trends, Arctic economics, culture, environment, Arctic networking seminar. Second part is Lapland field trip and third part is business innovation project.  Multidisciplinary course offers an interesting learning for those who want to gain hands on experience in the world of business and entrepreneurship. Join and co-create with us the Arctic future!

Student Mobility for the spring semester 2018 (starts in the beginning of January) is now open!

Information for staff at partner universities, exchange student nomination:

We request that all nominations are submitted online by the international coordinator of our partner institutions before 15th of October for spring semester 2018 (if the student is a citizen outside EEA/EU then the nomination deadlines are 1st of October for the spring semester). You will be asked to enter name, e-mail, field of study and term of study for each of your students. After you have done so we will e-mail these students with detailed application instructions.
