 INVITES YOU TO PARTICIPATE AT THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE

RELEVANT ISSUES OF ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT 2024

17-18 April  2024

The aim of the conference is to share experience and knowledge on actual problems analyzing environmental management issues.

The topics of the conference:  protected areas; nature tourism; ecology; forest use; law; management and economics; renewable energy resources; territorial planning; landscape architecture.

Information for participants:

Form of participation -  at the university (Liepu str.1, Girionys, Kaunas distr., Lithuania) or distance (ZOOM)

Time limit - up to 15 minutes for presentations

Languages of the conference: Lithuanian, English.  Conference presentations and articles may be written in Lithuanian, English. Articles meeting the requirements will be published in the proceedings of the conference (requirements are listed in the invitation).

Participation at the conference and submission of articles is free of charge.

Presentations have to be sent by   15 April 2024.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESENTATION PAPERS

1. Extent – 3-5 (A4 format) full pages. Submit by e-mail to: e.abalikstiene@kmaik.lt
2. Structure: title, name and surname of the author, institution, introduction (aim, tasks, object and methods of studies), results, conclusions, references, summary (not less than 600 symbols) in English or Russian, data on the author.
3. Text requirements:
- Microsoft Word program, Times New Roman;
- margins – 20 mm;
- title – 18pt, Bold;
-name and surname of the author – 16pt, Bold;
- institution, study program – 14pt, Italic;
- text single spacing (14pt, Normal);
- titles of chapters – 14pt, Bold; space between the text and
chapter title– one line interval;
- the titles ‚References‘ and ‚Summary‘ – 14pt, Bold, while the text itself – 12pt, Normal;
- the main symbols of formulas - 14pt, Italic, their indices - 12pt, Italic; the formulas are centered and numbered using Arabic numerals in parentheses on the right side; space between formulas and text – one line interval;
- following references, summary is typed on a separate page, along with the dates of submission and provision for publication, data on the author in the original language and in English.;
- titles of pictures and tables as well as notes under them are centered and written using 12 pt in Lithuanian and summary language. Lithuanian text within tables – 12 pt, Normal and in summary language 12 pt, Italic. Pictures and and tables are separated from the text by one line;
- presentation title, name and surname of the author, titles of the institution, chapters, tables, diagrams and charts are aligned to the left.
