Laboratory of Agroecosystems and Soil Sciences

Practical tasks of the subjects Geology, Soil  and Agrochemical Sciences are performed in this laboratory. Here, minerals and rocks, soil composition, its physical and chemical  properties, water regime, soil systematics and classification are studied. During  practical training in the laboratory, the functioning of ecosystems, the theory and practice of plant cultivation are analyzed, the conditions of plant growth and various means of its improvement are chosen and analysed. During practical work in the laboratory, agrochemical properties of soils are studied and soil agrochemical research is carried out. The laboratory is equipped with modern equipment, reagents and necessary instruments. The laboratory has a rich collection of minerals and rocks, sets of soil monoliths and samples, and a comprehensive collection of fertilizers. The laboratory is rich in visual aids: maps, methodological material, books, brochures, scientific articles, etc.
